Must my Aristo Carne be kept in the refrigerator?
All Aristo Carne pet foods are perishable products, we recommend defrosting each tub in the refrigerator and once opened to continue keeping it cold inside of your fridge and use within 3-4 days for raw foods and 4-5 days for cooked foods
How long can I keep my Aristo Carne pet food frozen for?
Whilst keeping your pet food frozen is a great way to preserve the food and its nutrients, we do not recommend keeping it for longer than 4 months in your deep freeze
Should I preheat my Aristo Carne pet food?
Aristo Carne pet food can be served warm or cold.
We recommend adding a 50ml warm water to your Aristo Carne pet food. This will loosen all the natural oils and flavours, stimulating your dogs appetites and allowing for a more easily digestible meal.
Be careful not to overheat as this could result in essential nutrients being lost and more importantly be harmful to your pet.
Can I compliment my Pellets/Kibble/Biscuits with Aristo Carne?
Aristo Carne can be used as a complete meal or a complimentary meal. Please refer to our feeding guidelines for more information.
How do I transition my pet to a raw diet?
Transitioning to a raw diet overnight can be a shock on your pets’ system. Slowly start adding a little bit of your Aristo Carne raw food to your pellets/kibble or biscuits. After a few days of your pet adjusting, you can slowly start to decrease your pellets/kibble or biscuits and increasing your Aristo Carne raw food until you no longer require the pellets/kibble or biscuits.
Be sure not to rush this process and ensure that your pets’ daily functions are healthy and consistent.
We recommend starting off 25% Aristo Carne with 75% of your pellets/kibble or biscuits and adjust accordingly over a period of 3-4 weeks
Always refer to your local/preferred vet when making any new dietary transitions.
Is your packaging recyclable?
Yes all our tubs are 100% recyclable. One small change per person for a million people is a million small changes around the world.
